I am retired from the Computer Technology Industry.  After being retired for a few years, I decided it was time to go back to work and be part of the real world again.  After much research and study, my choice was the Marketing aspect on the Internet.

My background was as a Sr. QA Engineer.  I have this curious nature about how things really work and are they real.  All information on this site is presented after much research, trial and error, a lot of time spent reading over 1300 emails.

I am no expert but I do know the difference between the truth and a sham.

Excellent site. Have you been in Quality Assurance for awhile? What do you make of Microsoft’s Alan Page and others writing essays about how they improve software? I heard a presentation by Page a couple years ago about large-scale automation, very interesting stuff. Click here if you’d like to check out my site.

We’ve just set out utilizing this as part of our application upgrade testing. Most application programs, dependent on databases, have some form of database upgrade component part (e.g. SQL upgrade scripts employing update and insert statements) when you upgrade the application. This tool has proved invaluable in facilitating us determine the before and after alterations as part of an upgrade. Quite often we’ll run the this tool against a fully populated database and showing the results to a developer will illuminate all sorts of issues. A wonderful time saver and very impressive. Worth a run if nothing else.
